That’s Nice: Drowning - Alban Grosdidier

Get a little nervous with your camera around open water? French photographer and graphic designer Alban Grosdidier has no such fear. His work shooting over the top of a bath tub caught my attention on It’s Nice That.

Currently in his final year of a Masters Degree at the famous Paris school ESAG Penninghen, his work has already been featured several times by major design blogs and websites from all around the world. Not bad for a post-grad ey?

Alban explained to Galo Magazine what the project is all about: “In French, we have this expression that says, “having your head underwater,” which would be translated as being under a lot of stress, a tremendous amount of work, or [working at] a highly-tensed pace. I think those situations can be described as direct consequences of city life. They’re not exclusive, obviously, but they still characterise it pretty well.”
