Event: Contemporary Dance Premier: Natasha’s
We are privileged to be hosting the premier of a powerful contemporary dance production brought to you by The Natasha’s Project at the end of November.
The Natasha's Project aims to use dance to raise awareness and profile the increasing issue of human trafficking in sex slavery in the UK, an issue regularly ignored with little or no media coverage. The Parliamentary Joint Committee on Human Rights reported that during 2003 there were an estimated 4,000 victims of trafficking for prostitution in the UK at any given time. According to the ECPAT report, in 2007 children as young as three years old have been trafficked into the UK for sexual exploitation.
On 30th November The Natasha’s Project will be sharing how they got to where they are, they’re vision for the future and how you can get involved in raising awareness of this terrible issue, and finally, present to you the contemporary dance production of “Natasha's” choreographed by founder of the project Erena Bordon Sanchez.
We would love for you to join us on 30th November at 7pm and support The Natasha's Project as they raise awareness of such a good cause. Tickets for the event are free but to give us an idea of numbers please book your tickets here.
